With a build volume of 203 x 203 x 70mm makes it ideal for full colour concept prototypes, medical / research models, and custom gaming miniatures. In addition to producing photo quality colour models, the Mimaki 3D printer can also create clear / translucent parts or translucent areas in the model. Taking it one step further,  translucent material can be mixed with colour to create opaque parts in any colour.

The Mimaki 3DUJ-553 IS the world’s first 3D printer with over 10 million colours covering approximately 84% of  Fogra39L and 90% of swop colours. with a build layer as low as 20 microns the Mimkaki 3DUJ-553 produces parts in brilliant colours and with incredible detail and surface finish.

The 3DUJ-553 has a build volume of 500 x 500 x 300mm ideal for producing large architectural models, full scale props and figurines. The water soluble support makes it the perfect for small thin walls and intricate detailed parts. No manual cleaning or post processing is required.

Printing in a photo-polymer resin, the Mimaki produces plastic parts with similar strength to ABS plastic - an excellent choice for functional testing.
